Jasmin Bolaños-Merlos

Jasmin Bolanos is a dedicated and passionate French horn musician and instructor. Jasmin holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she studied under Daniel Grabois and is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Horn Performance at DePaul University. Academically, Jasmin also holds a certificate in Chicano and Latino studies and is pursuing a certificate in Strategic Writing and Advancement for Nonprofits. Having grown up as the only classical musician her family, she is empathetic to the challenges of navigating unfamiliar musical territory. Because of this, she holds a belief in a judgment-free learning environment where students can explore the joy of classical music.
